We welcomed interns from Akita International University

From January 13 to March 4, 2026, we participated in an educational program by accepting two interns from Akita International University as trainees.
The internship focused on exploring concepts for the Visitor Center, providing the students with an opportunity to learn about local needs and issues. Through interviews with local stakeholders and conducting surveys, the interns gained a deeper understanding of the community and developed proposals for the center’s concept. Their fresh perspectives and proactive attitudes led to lively discussions and valuable suggestions.
The insights and outcomes from this internship will be utilized in the future operation of the Visitor Center and in further strengthening our collaboration with the community.
