Conclusion of a Charter Agreement with Penta-Ocean Construction Co., Ltd.

We hereby announce that, on May 1, we entered into a charter agreement with Penta-Ocean Construction Co., Ltd. for SEP vessel to be used for the wind turbine installation works for the offshore wind power project in Oga City, Katagami City, and Akita City, Akita Prefecture.

This agreement secures SEP vessel to be used for the offshore wind turbine installation works, which constitute a core component of the project, and represents an important milestone marking the transition of the project into its full-scale offshore construction phase.

By leveraging the extensive offshore construction experience and advanced technical capabilities of Penta-Ocean Construction Co., Ltd., we will proceed with the works while ensuring safety and quality, as well as giving due consideration to environmental impact reduction and coexistence with local communities.

We will continue to steadily advance the project toward the commencement of commercial operations in June 2028, while seeking the understanding and cooperation of local communities and all other stakeholders.
