We Attended the Signing Ceremony for the Comprehensive Partnership Agreement among Oga City, Katagami City, Akita City, and FamilyMart Co., Ltd. (Held on June 3, 2026)

On June 3, 2026, we attended the signing ceremony for the Comprehensive Partnership Agreement held at Akita City Hall by Oga City, Katagami City, Akita City, and FamilyMart Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “FamilyMart”).
FamilyMart is a group company of ITOCHU Corporation, one of our sponsor companies.
This agreement was concluded as a result of the offshore wind power project that our company is promoting off the coast of Oga City, Katagami City, and Akita City in Akita Prefecture, with the aim of contributing to the sustainable development of local communities through the use of regional resources and the improvement of convenience for residents.
FamilyMart had previously concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with Katagami City in February 2025, and initiatives such as product development using regional resources and sales activities at city hall have been carried out.
With the conclusion of this agreement, broader regional revitalization is expected through collaboration between FamilyMart and the three cities, now including Oga City and Akita City in addition to Katagami City.
It also marks the first time that FamilyMart has entered into a partnership agreement simultaneously with multiple municipalities.
With regard to regional revitalization initiatives under this agreement, our company, as a power producer rooted in the local community, will further strengthen collaboration with the relevant municipalities and our sponsor group companies, contribute to creating a more attractive and livable region for local residents, and continue working to advance the offshore wind power project.
