Akita Fair Held at Itochu Corporation Headquarters Employee Cafeteria

From March 10^th to March 14^th, 2025, Itochu Corporation, one of our sponsor companies, held the Akita Fair at the headquarters employee cafeteria, featuring food products from Akita Prefecture. On the first day of the fair, employees from the Akita Prefectural Government visited, where we conducted promotional activities through tastings of Akita’s renowned brand rice, “sakihokore.”
During the fair, we offered a variety of dishes made with Akita ingredients, such as curry using Hinai-Jidori chickens, the traditional “Damako Soup,” and Inaniwa udon, all of which was praised by many attendees. Additionally, QR codes were placed on each table in the cafeteria, allowing participants to purchase their favorite ingredients online right then and there, marking a new initiative.
The menu at the fair received more orders than anticipated. Our sponsor companies, including Itochu Corporation, will support the expansion of the distribution channels and the promotion of Akita food products by holding Akita Fairs in the future.
