We held a workshop at Oga technical high school.

On July 25, 2024, we and our sponsor of Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. jointly held a workshop of “Be an Energy Minister” at Oga technical high school.
At this workshop, students think the optimum energy policy as an energy minister of a country while considering characteristics of power generation method and the country’s various limiting conditions.
We discussed how to product future human resources in offshore wind field with teachers and got opinions from them that they wanted students to get interested in energy itself first, so we held this workshop where students could learn about energy easily in a form of a game.
On that day, first year students were divided into 15 teams and worked on this workshop friendly and seriously.
We received feedbacks from them that they could realize how important energy was and how difficult a decision of energy policy was and that they could get interested in energy field as a future job.
We will continue to work on development of future human resources in offshore wind field in cooperation with local educational institutions.
