A speech in an exchange meeting for the Companies in Ishikari City

On January 27, 2025, we had a speech in an exchange meeting for the companies between Ishikari city and Akita City.
Both Akita City and Ishikari City, Hokkaido had established a “Joint Study Group for the Promotion of Renewable Energy-Related Industries” last July, the first group by local governments in Japan. This group will be discussing the following 3 points; “the establishment of an offshore wind power supply chain”, “the local production for local consumption of renewable energy”, and “the promotion of industrial tourism”.
This was held for the Akita site visit as a lead city of wind power project including offshore and the exchange the opinions with the companies.
The number of attendees at the meeting was twenty-one and we had introduced our efforts and achievements as an owner of the wind power plant, then we had also exchanged opinions with the attendees.
We will continue to exchange the opinions not only with the local stakeholders, but also with the related governments, as we would like to contribute for the regional development through our offshore wind power project.
