Participated in the Science Festival at Akita Base Center ALIVE.

On July 13, 2025, we participated in the Science Festival as part of the “Summer Summer Festa 2025” organized by Akita Base Center ALIVE.
At our booth, themed “What is an Offshore Wind Power Plant?”, we hosted an electricity workshop introducing the mechanisms of power generation and renewable energy, offered hands-on power generation experiences using experiment kits, organized a windmill-making activity with origami, and set up a coloring corner featuring offshore wind power turbines.
By providing a variety of interactive experiences, we aimed to spark interest and curiosity about offshore wind power among children of all ages.
On the day of the event, we were pleased to welcome a wide range of participants, from preschoolers to upper elementary school students, all of whom enjoyed the activities. We received many enthusiastic comments, such as “I want to see big wind turbines in real life once they are built ”, “I want to learn more about how electricity works,” and “I want to make another pinwheel!” Through our participation in this event, we were able to help participants feel closer to our offshore wind power project.
We will continue to actively participate in various events to help more people become familiar with our project and encourage further engagement in the future.
