Notice of Change in Equity Partner

We are pleased to inform you that one of our sponsor companies, JERA Co., Inc. (“JERA”), has established JERA Nex bp, a joint venture with bp that brings together JERA’s renewable energy subsidiary and bp’s offshore wind business. The new entity, headquartered in the United Kingdom, was officially launched on August 1, 2025. In addition, JERA Nex bp Japan G.K. (“JNBPJ”) was also established as the Japan-based subsidiary responsible for offshore wind development and operations in the country.(Reference: JERA Press Release – JERA and bp launch offshore wind joint venture JERA Nex bp | Press Release(2025) | JERA)
Until now, JERA’s investment in our company had been made through JERA Green Power Investment G.K., a wholly owned subsidiary of JERA. As of August 1, 2025, this equity partnership has been transferred to JNBPJ.
We will continue to work closely with JNBPJ and our other equity partners to promote offshore wind development both in Japan and globally, contributing to the realization of a more sustainable society.
