2nd DRA Session for Oga Katagami and Akita City Offshore Wind Power Project was held

2^nd-DRA(Design Risk Assessment) was held for our project on 12^th-September, 2025.Representatives from Vestas Wind Systems A/S, MHI Vestas Japan Co., LTD., Kajima corporation, Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd., and Ove Arup & Partners Japan Limited gathered together for this session.
This session could be identified the potential risks under construction/operation and the solution and mitigations about them were discussed there. All participants conducted the active discussion and almost topics in design phase were completed in this session.
This session is final DRA in design phase. Next, HAZID(Hazard Identification Studies) will be organized to achieve global safety standard. We keep improving safety and reliability in Oga Katagami Akita offshore wind farm and keep on going to come target COD, June-2028.
