Safety Prayer Ceremony Held for the Start of Onshore Construction

On May 15, 2025, a safety prayer ceremony was held at Akita Port Iijima Wharf to mark the commencement of the onshore construction for the ” Oga, Katagami,and Akita City Offshore Wind Power Project, Akita Prefecture”

The ceremony was officiated by a Shinto priest from Tsuchizaki Shinmeisha Shrine. We were honored by the presence of representatives from the Akita Port Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism; the Akita Prefectural Government’s Department of Industry and Labor and Department of Construction; the Shimoshinjo Community Association; and our contractors, Toko Electrical Construction Co., Ltd., Omori Construction Co., Ltd., and Sawaki Corporation.

We will continue to prioritize safety above all and work closely with all relevant parties to ensure the smooth and reliable execution of the project.
