Notice of Payment of the Third Security Deposit for Offshore Wind Power Project off the Coasts of Oga City, Katagami City, and Akita City, Akita Prefecture

We are pleased to announce that today we have paid the third security deposit (hereinafter referred to as “the Deposit”) in accordance with the Act on Promoting Utilization of Sea Areas for the Development of Marine Renewable Energy Power Generation Facilities (the Marine Renewable Energy Act) for our offshore wind power project off the coasts of Oga City, Katagami City, and Akita City in Akita Prefecture.
The payment of this Deposit is regarded as an important measure to ensure the reliable implementation of the offshore wind power project.
With the continued understanding and cooperation of local communities and other stakeholders, we will steadily move forward toward the start of commercial operation in June 2028.
