We participated in the 6th Statutory Council Meeting

On February 25, 2026, we participated in the 6th Statutory Council Meeting for the “Offshore Area of Oga City, Katagami City, and Akita City in Akita Prefecture,” jointly organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and Akita Prefecture.
During the meeting, we provided an overview of the project, reported on the progress of our initiatives for fisheries and community coexistence, and explained the status of various construction works as well as the implementation of fisheries impact assessments.
Council members expressed their expectations for steady progress in the project going forward.
We will continue to work closely with local communities as we advance this project and remain committed to fostering coexistence with the fisheries industry and the region as a whole.
