Attended the Naming Ceremony for the O&M CTV “Beluga Arrow”（Event date: July 31, 2026）

On July 31, 2026, a naming ceremony was held for a Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) that the Company plans to charter on a long-term basis for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of its offshore wind power project. The ceremony took place at the Shinhamacho Shipyard of Kosaba Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Kamaishi City, representatives of the Iwate Prefectural Government and other public authorities, as well as representatives of Kosaba Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., which is constructing the vessel; Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line), the vessel owner responsible for its operation and ship management; Akita Tugboat Co., Ltd.; and Japan Offshore Support Co., Ltd.During the ceremony, our Representative Executive Officer, Yuihara, officially named the vessel “Beluga Arrow.”
“Beluga” means a white whale, also known as a beluga whale. The name was selected to reflect the beluga whale’s clean and forward-looking image, gentle presence, and cooperative nature, qualities that align with the Company’s vision for its offshore wind power business.
The name also expresses our hope that the vessel will connect local ports with the offshore wind farm, bring together the many people and organizations involved in the project, and become a familiar and valued presence within the local community.
As a CTV, Beluga Arrow will transport technicians and essential equipment to the offshore wind farm and support the safe and stable operation of the project over the long term.
We will continue to work closely with local communities and project partners as it moves forward safely and steadily toward the commencement of commercial operations at the wind farm.
